Mitäs himskattia minun puutuneet silmäni näkevätkään, keitä ovat nuo keltalakkiset vaeltajat? Vakuutusyhtiöiden mainonnan uhreja vai paikallisen kauppakorkeakoulun uusia tulokkaita? No kieltämättä vastaus on aika ilmiselvä, sillä en ole ikinä nähnyt 1-luokkalaista, jolla on piripintaan pakattu muovikassi täynnä hupijuomaa, ellei siis olla Turussa.
Sitsaaminen, laji, joka on helppo aloittaa, mutta vaikea lopettaa. Olet varmasti kuullut jo korkeakoulussa opiskelevilta ystäviltäsi tarinoita, siitä mitä he tai heidän “ystävänsä” ovat sitseillä tehneet ja miettinyt päässäsi, että kuulostaapa mukavalta ja kevyeltä ajanvietolta. Kaikki meistä ovat kuitenkin aloittaneet sitsiuramme tietämättä hölkäsen pöläystäkään sitseistä tai niihin liittyvistä perinteistä. Lyhykäisyydessään sitsit ovat akateeminen pöytäjuhla, jossa syödään, juodaan, lauletaan ja nautitaan yhdessäolosta. Tämä hieman eroottiselta kuulostava kokonaisuus on yksi opiskeluelämän parhaista palasista ja nämä sitsit ovat omistettu juuri sinulle, arvon fuksi. Näillä sitseillä pääset myös tutustumaan NESU:n (Nordiska Ekonomie Studerandes Union) toimintaan ja siihen mistä NESU-Finanssin tapahtumissa on kyse.
Vinkkejä onnistuneeseen sitsipäivään:
1) Sitseille siirrytään busseilla, joten muista olla ajoissa bussissa, sillä myöhästyneitä ei odoteta! Bussit vievät myös sitsikansan keskustaan jatkoille Kaarleen.
2) Suosittelemme ottamaan sitseille omaa juomista siltä varalta, ettei suu kuivu liikaa. Huomioikaa kuitenkin, että punaviini tai punaviinipohjaisten juomien tuominen on ehdottomasti kiellettyä. Välttäkää myös liiallista etkoilua ennen sitsejä, jos haluatte torjua liiallisen “olotilan” muodostumisen tapahtuman aikana.
3) Tuo mukanasi avoin ja positiivinen mieli.

What on earth do my weary eyes see, who are those yellow capped wanderers? Victims of insurance company advertising or new freshmen of the local business school? Well, admittedly the answer is pretty obvious, since I've never seen a 1st grader with a plastic bag packed to the brim with booze, unless of course we're in Turku.
Sits, a sport that is easy to start, but hard to quit. You've surely heard stories from your friends studying in higher education about what they or their "friends" have done at sits and thought to yourself that it sounds like a nice and lighthearted way to pass the time. However, all of us started our sits careers without knowing a single thing about sits or the traditions related to them. In short, sits, is an academic table party where you eat, drink, sing, and enjoy each other's company. This somewhat erotic-sounding entity is one of the best parts of student life, and these sits are dedicated precisely to you, dear freshman. At these sits, you will also get to know the operations of NESU (Nordiska Ekonomie Studerandes Union) and what NESU-Finanssi events are all about.
Tips for a succesful sits day:
1) Transport to the sits is by bus, so remember to be on the bus on time, as latecomers will not be waited for. The buses will also take the sits crowd to Kaarlenholvi for the afterparty.
2) We recommend bringing your own drinks to the sits, just in case your mouth gets too dry. Please note, however, that bringing red wine or red wine-based drinks is strictly forbidden. Heavy pregaming is not recommended, if your goal is not to catch a severe case of headache
3 )Bring an open and positive mindset with you.

NOTE! There will be a waiting list for these sits. If you don’t manage to get a ticket through Kide.App, you may still get a spot if there are any cancellations. The link to the waiting list will be posted on NESU-Finanssi’s Instagram Story the day after ticket sales, on 25 August at 12:00.
If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing nesupj@finanssi.org, so your spot can be offered to the next person on the waiting list. Tickets cannot be resold or transferred to others. Any available spots will be filled through the waiting list.
